- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 pt. fig preserves
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Mix together brown sugar, fig preserves and water.

2Place in a 9 x 9-inch pan.

3Then mix together eggs, sugar, margarine, milk, vanilla and flour.

4Pour over fig mixture.

5Bake at 350° until brown.

6Turn over in cake plate.
