Ingredients

  • 24 dried figs
  • 2 cups green ginger wine
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 13 cup clear honey
  • whipped cream, to serve

Directions

    Place figs, ginger wine, orange juice and honey in a heavy base (not aluminium) saucepan and bring almost to the boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes until syrupy.

    Serve with whipped cream.
