  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
  • 1 Land O Lakes Egg
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12-ounce) can soft whipped white frosting
  • Multi-colored decorator nonpareils

Directions

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Combine brown sugar, butter and egg in bowl.

    Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.

    Add all remaining cookie ingredients; beat at low speed until well mixed.

    Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets; spread, using back of spoon, into 1 1/2-inch circles.

    Bake 6-8 minutes or until cookies are puffed and set.

    Cool completely.

    Spread about 2 tablespoons frosting onto bottom-side of 1 cookie; top with second cookie, bottom-side down.

    Squeeze together gently.

    Immediately roll edges of filling in decorator nonpareils.
