- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans or coconut
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat egg yolks; add sugar, cornstarch and milk.

2Cook in heavy pan over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick; add vanilla. Cool.

3Add nuts, reserving a few for top.

4When cool enough to spread, fill and frost cake.
