  • 1 pound Rotini Pasta
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Sweet Or Spicy Italian Sausage
  • 1 package (10 Oz. Package) Frozen Broccoli Florets
  • 1 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 can (14.5 Oz) Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Grape Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions

    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.

    Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain, drizzle with some olive oil to prevent sticking and reserve.

    In a large skillet, heat oil and sausage; cook through until no longer pink.

    During the last 5 minutes of cooking, add broccoli, onion and garlic to the skillet.

    Sprinkle basil and crushed pepper in, add the broth and tomatoes.

    Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes to slightly reduce and until tomatoes pop open.

    Add pasta to the skillet and mix together.

    Sprinkle with cheese and serve immediately.
