- 1 lb. stew beef, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3 medium potatoes
- 2 or 3 carrots
- 1 c. frozen peas or corn
- 1 stalk celery
- 1/2 small onion
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Mix together the two cans of soup and stew beef in a 2 quart oven dish (do not add water to soups).

3Cut up potatoes and carrots and add to soup mixture.

4Add peas, diced celery and diced onion.

5Stir everything together and bake uncovered in 300° oven for 2 1/2 hours.

6Turn off oven and leave stew in oven for another 45 minutes.

7Stir before serving.
