- 1 to 2 lb. fresh fish
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 6 to 8 peppercorns
- 1 c. diced ham or bacon
- 1 large onion, chopped
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 2 cans cream of celery soup
- milk
- hot pepper sauce
Directions

1Poach fish in some water, vinegar and peppercorns until it flakes.

2Remove, drain and flake.

3Saute ham or bacon in margarine. Add vegetables and continue until these are softened.

4Add milk and soup.

5Continue heating while stirring, but do not allow to boil. Add the fish and heat a few more minutes.

6May also be served cold.
