  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. raw potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 c. diced salt pork or bacon
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. half and half cream
  • 2 c. flaked, cooked fish

Directions

    Saute onion and bacon in butter and cook until soft, but not brown.

    Add potatoes and water. Cook until the potatoes are soft. Add flour.

    Cook 2 minutes and add the milk.

    Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Add the cream and fish, then cook until hot.
