  • 1/2 lb. bacon or fat back
  • 2 medium onions
  • 3 c. boiling water
  • 2 to 3 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 lb. fish
  • 2 to 3 c. milk
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Fry bacon until crisp in soup pot.

    Drain pork on paper towel. Fry onions in bacon grease.

    Return bacon to pot; add water and potatoes.

    Cook until potatoes are done.

    Add milk and fish.

    Cook until fish is tender.

    Do not boil.

    Serve piping hot.
