- 1 medium onion, cut in small pieces
- 2 or more potatoes, cut in small pieces
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 pt. or more regular milk
- salt and pepper to taste
