- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 1/2 c. tomatoes
Directions

1Cook cabbage leaves in boiling water in saucepan for 5 minutes; drain.

2Combine next 7 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Shape into 8 rolls.

3Place on cabbage leaves, rolling to enclose filling.

4Place rolls on tomatoes in skillet.

5Simmer, covered, for 35 minutes.
