- 1/4 lb. salt pork
- 2 onions, diced
- 4 c. small potato pieces
- 1 to 2 c. water
- 2 lb. fish fillet (haddock)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 to 3 c. milk
- 1 large can (13 oz.) evaporated milk
Directions

1Fry diced salt pork until golden.

2Remove scraps (3 tablespoons of fat).

3Cook 2 diced onions in fat until yellow.

4Add 4 cups potato pieces.

5Add water.

6Add fish fillet (haddock) on top.

7Add pepper and salt.

8Cook to a boil, then even heat until fish flakes in big chunks.

9Pour in 2 to 3 cups milk plus 1 large (13 ounce) can evaporated milk.

10Heat, but do not boil.
