- 1 lb. haddock, cod or halibut
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. crushed oregano
- dash of black pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Rinse fillets and pat dry.

3Arrange in shallow baking dish.

4Melt margarine in a medium saucepan.

5Stir in remaining ingredients; mix well.

6Carefully pour tomato mixture over fish.

7Bake 35 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
