Fish Dinner Casserole

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 pkg. frozen fish fillets (cod, haddock or perch), cut in small pieces
- 1 small can shrimp, drained or 12 oz. pkg. frozen shrimp
- 1 tsp. parsley, chopped
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
- 3 raw potatoes, sliced
Directions

1Melt butter in saucepan.

2Add onion and cook until soft. Remove pan from heat; stir in flour and then milk.

3Return to heat.

4Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Arrange fish and shrimp in buttered casserole.

5Sprinkle with parsley and mushrooms.

6Pour half of the sauce over fish.

7Top with layer of sliced potatoes and pour remaining sauce over all. Bake in 350° oven for 40 minutes or until potatoes are done.
