Ingredients

  • 1 pt. canned salmon
  • 1 tsp. chopped garlic (bottled in oil)
  • 3 Tbsp. catsup
  • 3 eggs or egg substitute
  • Cheddar cheese, sliced thin
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 4 Tbsp. salsa (medium-hot)
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/3 c. bread crumbs

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except cheese in a bowl. Form into patties.

    Fry until crisp in hot olive oil.

    Top with a slice of cheese.

    Serve with mustard or salsa sauce. Also makes a great burger sandwich.

    Serve on a bun with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise.
