- 2 lb. fresh fish
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 large onion
- 1 Tbsp. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Directions

1Clean fish and cut into pieces; wash in salted water.

2Coat fish with flour and fry until lightly brown.

3Put oil in saucepan. Add the flour and stir until light brown.

4Add onion and cook until soft.

5Place the tomatoes, pepper and salt.

6Let it cook for 10 minutes.

7Add 1 1/2 cups water and fried fish.

8Simmer over medium heat until thickened and well cooked.

9Serve with boiled rice, yams or potatoes.
