  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1/2 c. white wine or vegetable juice cocktail
  • 1 28 oz. can plum tomatoes drained and roughly chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 lb. firm fleshed fish, such as cod or monkfish, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/2 lb. medium shrimp peeled and deveined
