  • 1 lb. fish fillets (sole, halibut, haddock or cod)
  • pepper
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can shrimp or fresh shrimp
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. cheese sauce
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • paprika
  • lemon wedges
  • parsley sprigs

Directions

    Thaw fish enough to separate.

    Arrange in a buttered Pyrex baking dish, sprinkle fish with pepper and dot with the butter. Mix the shrimp in the cheese sauce.

    Spread over fish; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.

    Bake at 400° for 25 minutes in a preheated oven.

    Serve with lemon wedges and parsley sprigs. Makes 4 servings.
