Fish With Tumeric Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish (eg Haddock)fillet
- 1 tbsp fat free mayonaise
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3/4 inch piece of fresh tumeric, grated/ground
- 2 small shallots, finely chopped/ground
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp oil
Directions

1Heat oven to 400 degrees.

2Place fish, skin side down, on oven proof dish.

3Coat top of fish with mayoinaise, sprinkle with salt & pepper.

4Spread and press in bread crumbs.

5Sprinkle lemon juice over crumbs.

6Bake for 20 minutes.

7While fish is baking, heat oil in pan, add in tumeric and shallots, fry till fragarant.

8All in flour, make a roux, gradually stir in skimmed milk and addalt to taste.

9Pour over fish.

10Serve with plain white rice and a salad.
