Ingredients

  • 1 can pork and beans
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 can kidney or pinto beans
  • 1 can barbecued baked beans
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cut in 1-inch slices
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1/4 c. minced onion (1 large)
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 2 tsp. minced or jar garlic (4 to 5 cloves)
  • pinch of ginger

Directions

    Combine all ingredients (do not drain beans) in a 4-quart casserole.

    Put bacon slices across top.

    Bake, uncovered, in 350° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
