  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs, well beaten
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. each: coconut, rum, butter, lemon and vanilla extracts

Directions

    Cream first 3 ingredients until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in flavorings. Spoon into 10-inch greased Bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
