- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs, well beaten
- 3 c. plain unsifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1 tsp. coconut flavoring
Directions

1Cream butter, shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

3Add flavorings.

4Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

5Add flour mixture alternately with milk.

6Do not overbeat. Pour into greased and floured tube pan; bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
