  • 1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat, cubed
  • 4 or 5 medium potatoes, peeled and cut in fourths
  • 6 carrots, cut in big chunks
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water

    Put into a casserole dish in order given.

    Do not stir.

    Cover and bake at 250° for 5 to 5 1/2 hours.

    (Can use a small roast, cubed.)
