Ingredients

  • 3 lb. beef stew meat
  • 4 carrots, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 3 stalks celery, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 1 to 2 large onions, quartered
  • 1 can large tomatoes
  • 3 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 large potatoes, quartered

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in roaster pan and cover and bake at 250° for 5 hours.

    You can also put in slow cooker or in Dutch oven on stove at 300° for 5 hours.

    Serves with biscuits or rolls.
