  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice
  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 4 carrots
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 2 onions, cut in chunks

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients well.

    Place meat and vegetables in a casserole dish and pour the V-8 mixture over them.

    Bake at 250° for 5 hours, stirring occasionally.
