- 1 (16 oz.) can sliced pears
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. rum
- ground cinnamon
- vanilla ice cream
- red grapes and lime wedges (optional)
Directions

1Toss the pears in the lime juice.

2Set aside in a medium skillet.

3Heat the brown sugar and butter or margarine.

4Stir in half of the rum.

5Stir in pear slices.

6Cook until pears are heated through, for about 1 minute.

7Transfer pear slices to a serving dish.

8Sprinkle with cinnamon.

9Pour remaining rum to skillet.

10Heat over low heat until hot.

11Remove from heat.

12Ignite rum and pour over pears.

13Serve over ice cream.

14Garnish with grapes and lime slices.
