- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. red or white wine

1Combine soy sauce and wine in a shallow dish.

2Marinate steak for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, turning occasionally.

3For medium-rare, broil steak 5 minutes on each side, basting once with marinade. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing in thin slices.

4Cut across the grain.

5Always salt steak after it is cooked to avoid toughening.
