- 15/16 cup butter
- 1 7/16 cups caster sugar
- 6 tablespoons golden syrup
- 6 1/8 cups rolled oats
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C/400 degrees F/gas mark 6.

2Put the butter sugar and syrup in a heavy based saucepan heat until the butter has melted; add the oats.

3Mix well.

4Tip the mixture into a 30 x 20cm shallow baking tin and cook for about 15 minutes until golden in colour.

5Cool a little before cutting into equal pieces.
