- 6 pork chops 1-inch thick
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 3/4 c. white wine
- 3/4 c. chicken stock or water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sharp prepared mustard
Directions

1Brown chops in 2 tablespoons butter.

2Place in 2-quart casserole with lid.

3Add onion slices to skillet in which chops were browned and cook until transparent.

4Add wine and stock; cook 1 minute.

5Pour the liquid and onions over chops.

6Season with salt and pepper.

7Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
