Ingredients

  • 7 cups corn flakes, lightly crushed
  • 6.25 oz mixed dried fruit
  • 1 (13.5 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2/3 cup sliced almonds, lightly toasted
  • 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts, roughly chopped
  • 8.75 oz milk, dark or white chocolate, melted

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 4 baking trays with parchment paper.

    Combine all ingredients except chocolate. Spoon heaped tablespoons onto trays, shaping with damp fingers into 2 inch rounds. Leave a 1 inch gap between each. Bake for 12-15 mins, until golden brown. Let cool on trays for 5 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Spread melted chocolate onto bottom of florentines and allow to set.
