- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup sugar (or sugar substitute such as splenda)
- 1 cup almonds or hazelnuts, lightly toasted and chopped
- 1/4 lb. candied orange peel or apricot cut fine
- 1/4 cup flour
- 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
- dash of salt
Directions

1-blend all ingredients thoroughly in a mixing bowl

2-drop 1 tbsp portions 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper

3-flatten with knife dipped in cold water into thin disk

4-Bake at 350 C until brown around the edges, about 10 minutes. May not brown if using splenda.

5-let cool and then using a brush apply one or two coats of melted chocolate on one side.

6Let cool.
