  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 3/4 c. pecan halves
  • whipped cream

Directions

    Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour filling into the pie crust. Top with pecan halves. Bake at 350° for 55 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream. Makes one 9-inch pie.
