Ingredients
- 4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix all ingredients well and cook on low heat.

2Cook for 1 hour, it will take 45 minutes for mixture to start boiling.

3Test in cold water until mixture forms a soft ball by dropping a small amount in cold water.

4Remove from heat and add vanilla (1 teaspoon).

5Sprinkle countertop with cold water and pour candy on the counter, a little at a time.

6Move the mixture back and forth with a wooden spatula, until mixture is white in color, creamy and will become thick in consistency.

7Refrigerate overnight, having made fondant into small balls (size of a piece of candy) using cornstarch on your hands.

8Coat candy balls with melted sweetened chocolate.
