Fondue Herb Sauce

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 1 12 cups salad oil
  • 12 cup chives, chopped
  • 12 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon onion, grated

Directions

    Beat yolks until frothy.

    Beat in lemon juice,salt & pepper.

    Beat in oil, about a teaspoon at a time until 1/2 cup has been added.

    Add rest of oil more quickly, about a tablespoon at a time.

    Beat until like mayonnaise.

    May not need all the oil.

    Stir in chives, parsley & onion.
  8. 8
    Chill until ready to serve.
