Foolproof Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 cake yeast
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. shortening, melted with 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix eggs, yeast mixture and shortening mixture.

2Combine all dry ingredients.

3Mix until smooth mixture develops.

4Place dough in oiled pan and cover with cloth.

5Set in warm place to rise, about 2 hours.

6Cut dough in half and roll out on floured board to 1-inch thickness and cut in pie shapes.

7Roll up from large end to point and curve into crescent shape.

8Cover with dry cloth and set aside in warm place until doubled in size.

9Bake at 400° for 5 to 7 minutes and lightly brown.
