- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1With a fork, mix together first four ingredients.

2In separate cup, mix next three ingredients.

3Combine the two mixtures, stirring with fork, until all ingredients are moistened, then with hands, shape into a ball.

4Chill at least 15 minutes before rolling into shape.

5Dough can be left in refrigerator up to 3 days or frozen until ready to use.

6Makes 2 double crusts and 1 shell.
