  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 5 Tbsp. cold water

Directions

    Mix together the flour, salt and shortening until it's like coarse meal.

    In a small bowl, beat the egg, vinegar and water. Add this to the flour mixture; mix together into form of a ball. Divide into 5 little balls, enough to make 5 shells.

    Can be refrigerated for a week or more if placed in plastic bag and sealed.
