- 2 1/2 tsp. double acting powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Carnation evaporated milk, diluted with 1/3 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream softened butter thoroughly in deep bowl.

2Add sugar, gradually beating, until the mixture is fluffy and light (like whipped cream).

3Add eggs to creamed butter and sugar.

4Beat until light.

5Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with liquid to creamed butter and sugar.

6Begin and end with dry ingredients.

7Add flavoring and blend thoroughly.
