  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Eggs

Directions

    Whisk dry ingredients (except sugar) together

    Whisk wet ingredients together in a separate bowl along with sugar

    Make a well in the center of dry ingredients and gently stir wet and dry ingredients together until just combined. Do not overmix!

    Let batter stand about 5 minutes to allow the baking powder and soda to react and start forming bubbles.

    Oil hot griddle and pour about 1/4 c batter per pancake. When edges begin to set and the bubbles on top of the pancake begin to break (about 3 mins), flip them until bottom is browned (about 2 mins more).
