  • 1/2 lb. frankfurters (4 or 5), cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 c. long grain rice
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, slightly thawed
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of bottled hot pepper sauce

Directions

    Combine frankfurters with remaining ingredients in 2-quart casserole, breaking up frozen vegetables with fork.

    Bake, covered, at 375° for 1 hour or until heated through.

    Stir once or twice during baking time.
