- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 large onion, minced
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 2 1/2 c. hot beef or chicken bouillon or broth
- 1/2 lb. frankfurters, sliced
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Melt margarine in large heavy saucepan or Dutch oven; add onion and saute until golden.

2Add rice and saute until translucent; add bouillon and frankfurters and bring to boil. Cover and simmer over very low heat 20 to 25 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

3Season with salt and pepper to taste.
