- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. caraway seed
- 2 c. sliced onion rings
- 8 c. coarsely shredded cabbage (1 1/2 lb.)
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 2 c. milk
- 1 lb. frankfurters
Directions

1Melt butter in Dutch oven or large deep skillet.

2Add caraway seed and onion; saute until onion is tender.

3Add cabbage; cover and simmer 3 minutes.

4Sprinkle flour and salt over cabbage; stir to blend well.

5Mix mustard into milk; gradually add to cabbage. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

6Boil and stir 1 minute. Cut frankfurters into 1-inch pieces.

7Add to cabbage; simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until frankfurters are heated through.
