  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach or broccoli, cooked and drained
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
  • 1 can cheese soup or 1 can mushroom soup with grated cheese added
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 lb. (4 or 5) frankfurters, halved crosswise

Directions

    Spread spinach in bottom of 10 x 6-inch baking dish.

    Combine rice, soup, onion and milk; spoon over spinach.

    Score half franks with an X-shaped cut; arrange on casserole, pressing into rice. Bake in moderate oven at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes, or until heated through.
