- 6 cucumbers (medium size)
- 3 to 4 onions
- 3 to 4 green peppers
Directions

1Slice thinly the cucumbers, onions and peppers.

2Soak for 3 hours in 3 tablespoons salt and enough ice water to cover.

3Drain well.

4Mix together 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup vinegar and pour over drained cukes.

5Let stand in refrigerator for 2 days.

6Put in containers and freeze.

7Makes 3 pints.

8Thaw and add sour cream or serve plain.
