  • 2 qt. cucumbers, sliced thin
  • 1 large onion, sliced thin
  • 2 Tbsp. canning salt
  • 2/3 c. each: oil, vinegar and sugar
  • 1 tsp. dill

Directions

    Mix cucumbers, onion and salt in large bowl.

    Let stand 2 hours; drain.

    Pack in freezer containers (or butter bowls) leaving 1-inch space at top.

    Mix oil, vinegar, sugar and dill. Pour into each container to cover.

    Seal and freeze.

    Makes 2 quarts.
