- 2 cans French beans
- 4 strips bacon, cooked
- 2/3 c. vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 onion, sliced paper thin
Directions

1Let beans come to boil in own juice; drain.

2Put in casserole. Cover with sliced onion and crumble bacon over.

3Let sugar and vinegar come to boil.

4Add 1 tablespoon bacon drippings.

5Pour over beans and let stand in warm place 3 to 4 hours.

6Pour off before serving.
