- 1 lb. butter (2 sticks oleo or 1 stick butter)
- 1 lb. sugar - 2 c.
- 1 lb. flour - 4 c. - measure before sifting
- 1 lb. eggs - 6 or 8
- 3 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, eggs, sugar.

2Then flour and vanilla.

3Use 6 eggs first.

4After all is combined if batter is too thick add other 2 eggs.

5Spoon batter by tablespoon and bake in a waffle iron, until lightly browned.

6All depends on size of waffle iron--you can make 1 big one or smaller ones at same time.
