- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 c. sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Add milk gradually to flour and stir until smooth.

2Cook in double boiler.

3Stir constantly until thick.

4Cook mixture.

5Keep covered and stir occasionally to avoid lumps.

6When creamed, add cooled flour and milk mixture on slow speed.

7When blended, beat for 15 minutes at medium speed.

8Add flavoring as desired.

9Use on Red Velvet cake or any cake.
