  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 large chocolate bar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar together.

    Add egg yolk, vanilla and flour.

    Spread thinly on cookie sheet.

    Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.

    Melt one large chocolate bar and spread on cookie immediately after removing from oven.

    Sprinkle nuts over top. Cut while warm.
