  • 4 firm medium bananas
  • fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. corn flake crumbs
  • oil or shortening (for deep frying)

Directions

    Peel bananas and brush with lemon or lime juice to prevent discoloration.

    Dip it in egg, then in the corn flakes.

    Deep-fry in oil heated to approximately 375° for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
